Blue Velvet is a design for all of the blue lovers out there. It features gorgeous, bold borders alongside design elements that have the feel

of old-fashioned wallpapers.

This desigh uses only four colors of blue variegated cottons, creating a beautiful tapestry that you will love stitching.

The model is stitched on needle bling design 40ct Lightening using called for overdyed cotton floss. Lightening is a very pale grey which allows all of the blues to shine.

Alternative fabrics. For this desiggn, I recommend using light colors and stay away from blue faberics.

As always, do small test swatches on any fabric you choose to be sure that all colors will show up well on it.

(Note: DMC will not give the same depth and change of colors as found in variegated floss.)
