Arabesque by Jan Hicks Creates
Arabesque is my Art Deco-ish contribution to the world of red samplers. This design started with the alphabet and it was so fun finding and developing motifs that had the same general feel. I love the slightly asymmetrical look of the mandala on the bottom left and the fan in the upper right. But for me the alphabet is the star of this show!
Pattern is stitched on 46 ct Winter White by Seraphim Hand-dyed Fabrics using hand-dyed fibers silks. Stitch count is 157 x 243.
